The Women’s Solo Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established in 2010 with the mission to serve Philadelphia-area women and their children by giving them the ability to become independent and resourceful in making healthy and positive decisions. Founder Tyra Wright-Johnson, a former violence victim herself, brings a wealth of training and experience to the administration of TWSP and its curriculum.
Every year, TWSP serves hundreds of women and their families who seek shelter, guidance, and training as they take control of their lives. TWSP provides this support free of charge so that every woman can find the help she seeks.
You can help TWSP continue to provide essential skills training to at-risk and underserved women in the Philadelphia area. Every dollar helps transform a life.
