Hello Ms. Tyra,
I love speaking with you about some of your workshops and I have board members who may have interest. I have some comprehensive programs that I will be running this fall at the MCC site for United Healthcare under NUEDAE University.

“Organizations such as yours have become instrumental in addressing issues of social inequality within our communities, but we know little about what factors in the environment are supportive of organizations in undertaking this role.”

“Your organization was one of 600 randomly selected from all nonprofit human service organizations in Pennsylvania.”

Tyra!  I wanted to reach out and make you aware – if you are not already – that Soroptimist nominated you for an award and that you have won!  Soroptimist is so proud that you’re a former Women’s Opportunity Award Winner and such a dedicated Soroptimist, as well as all of your work on your nonprofit.  We’re so happy for you.

Congratulations and thank you for your continued work with women.

I had a great time on Friday at the Gala.   Thank you!  Please let me know when the pictures will be up.   Also, my flowers look great in my vase.  Thank you for that blessing.  Marie

“Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed Saturday’s event and also speaking with you.
I particularly enjoyed the ladies, participants and your supporters. Keep me informed on what you are doing.”

Dear Mrs. Wright-Johnson,

On Behalf of the Greater Philadelphia Schweitzer Fellowship Program, I would like to thank you for agreeing to speak at our monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. The Greater Philadelphia Albert Schweitzer Fellows and I truly appreciate your willingness to share with us your personal story. We thank you for your inspiration, courage, and honesty. It enables us to continue to put our idealism into action. As we develop “Leaders in Service” please accept my sincere thanks again for your compassion and your enthusiam to serve as speaker for our May monthly meeting. Please note that we recognise that the service you provide to the community is invaluable.

As this quick note of gratitude comes to a close, I leave you with this quote.

“Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing.”

~ Albert Schweitzer

Thanks again!

I’m contacting you on behalf of For The Women, our feminist oriented club here at Arcadia University. We are currently organizing two of our annual events, Speak Out and Take Back The Night, and we’d like to invite you to join us in spreading awareness and speaking against the global epidemic of gender-based violence and sexual abuse, as well as topics related to these issues that are so frequently silenced.

I met Tyra at our One Billion Rising event we held here at Arcadia on 2/14. Hi Tyra! 🙂 We are in the process of planning our two last large events for this academic year.
